The Garden's Groundwork, Summer 2009

Site work included bulldozers and trackhoes to improve terrain and shape land for ease of maintenance.  Underground irrigation valves and water spicets are designated with white posts and numbered for best water management.

Dump trucks were used to move on-site soil to fill large ravines as well as soils were brought in for new raised planting beds.  Planting areas were designed for ease of maintenance with large mowing equipment and minimal staffing.
